Marlians record boss, Naira Marley, has denied being involved in singer, Mohbad assault.

Forensic investigations indict Naira Marley for Cyber fraud

Biztellers has reported that Mohbad allegedly claimed in a video via Twitter that he was assaulted at the Marlian House by his management team after demanding a new manager.

The singer, who was wearing a white singlet, was visible in the seven-second video clip with bruises on his hand, neck, and back.

“Just because I want to change my manager which is their brother, see what they did to me at Marlian House,” he wrote.

However, Naira Marley responded to the accusation by calling the incident a “family affair.”

The singer claimed that Mohbad was probably “high” (drunk) when making the complaint in a response to the situation in an Instagram live video.

“Obviously, he (Mohbad) is not in his right sense. It is obvious he is not in the right state of mind. Because why will I touch Mohbad or allow anyone to touch Mohbad?,” he said.

Also on his Twitter handle, Naira Marley wrote, “Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect. However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.”

“I need my bro Mohbad to come on live so u guys can see I don’t have any reasons to lie on him,” he wrote in another tweet.

Fans, particularly on the microblogging website Twitter, claimed that there was more to Mohbad’s accusation, obviously not buying Naira Marley’s version of events.

They asserted that the musician had previously come forward to ask for support in his battle with the Naira Marley-led management group.

@drpenking wrote, “When Mohbad cried out, some people predicted that Naira Marley will come out and say he was on drugs. Guess what? The exact thing played out within an hour. How many times will it happen? Why is Mohbad always accusing them anytime he is “high”? Naira needs to do better.”

@Mbahdeyforyou wrote, “This isn’t the first time Mohbad is crying out for help, something fishy is really going on.”

@Najia_talker said, “Naira Marley,we no need all these explanations. Just free mohbad. It’s like he’s tired of the record label. Free him. Do more PR for Zino too. Zino needs mad PR and better management. I don’t mind if you free zino too. Zino is underrated and under-promoted. Can’t imagine zino in YBNL”

@AkinyeleWO wrote, “Mohbad should get himself a very good lawyer and look for a way to get himself out of that label. This is looking like slavery already.”

@theonlysekoni said, “Seriously Mohbad is not meant to go through this, this is the second time he’s crying for help.”

@UncleYakub wrote, “Just as it was the last time, Naira Marley is saying Mohbad is high. There’s something fishy going on in that record label and it will definitely unfold someday.”

@the_smallie said, “Omo see as dem beat Mohbad, what exactly is happening in Marlians record?”

@_VALKING wrote, “This isn’t the first time Mohbad is crying out for help, what’s really going on, when no be say na cult he join?”

@_theladymo said, “I don’t understand how you’d have a gold mine like Mohbad and you’d be assaulting him like that. Omo!”
