How Anambra UTME Top Scorer Manipulate Result – JAMB Reveals
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed information regarding UTME candidate Mmesoma Ejikeme’s alleged score manipulation.
According to the exam board, Mmesoma Ejikeme is suspected of changing her original score of 249 to an inflated score of 362.
Consequently, JAMB has taken action by withdrawing her result in response to the discovered irregularities.
JAMB has labeled Ms. Ejikeme’s case as the “most pathetic” for deceiving the public with her score manipulation. The exam board stated that she not only attempted to pull the wool over Nigerians’ eyes but also fraudulently obtained a scholarship and other recognitions by exploiting the UTME result system.
his revelation came through a statement made by JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin on Sunday, shedding light on the extent of her attempted exploitation of the exam body’s system.
The statement reads “It is to be noted that the candidate had sent a message to the board’s platform to request her UTME result, after which she manually inflated her scores and pasted same on the 2022 UTME result sheet.
“Unknown to her, the board had changed the design of the 2023 UTME result sheet. Her original result remains 249 as nothing can change that.”
JAMB issued a warning, cautioning that individuals similar to Mmesoma Ejikeme are still operating, deceiving those who hastily bestow honors on candidates without verifying with the board.
JAMB further assured the public that the Anambra student’s case would be taken to court for prosecution.
In addition, the exam body accused another UTME candidate, Atung Gerald in Kaduna, of falsely claiming to have achieved a score of 380 in the examination.
“The board is constrained to set the records straight and wishes to state unequivocally that many of the results which many of these candidates are parading are fake,” the JAMB statement stressed.
“In many instances, some of these candidates had actually obtained far lower scores than they are claiming and had used some funny software packages to manipulate their results to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.”

The Senior Pastor of Freedom Life International Christian Center, Richard Tochukwu, has declared that gospel music possesses the spiritual capacity to transform Nigeria, describing it as a divine instrument capable of restoring hope and unity in the nation.
Speaking during an interaction with journalists, the cleric said music inspired by God’s Word can positively influence Nigeria’s spiritual and socio-political landscape by promoting peace, comfort and moral revival.
According to him, gospel music goes beyond entertainment and should be seen as a ministry tool for national healing.

“Gospel music is not just sound; it carries power. When songs are inspired by Scripture, they can heal hearts, restore faith and redirect a nation toward righteousness,” he said.
Pastor Tochukwu made the remarks while discussing his latest worship single, “I Want To Pray,” a spiritually reflective song produced by Audio5.
He explained that the track was created to encourage believers to remain steadfast in prayer and maintain consistent fellowship with God.
The song draws inspiration from Luke 18:1, which urges believers to pray always and not lose heart.
A spiritual son of Paul Enenche, Pastor Tochukwu revealed that most of his songs are birthed from deep study of Scripture.
“Sometimes while studying or preaching from a passage, a melody begins to flow. The lyrics are drawn directly from the Word. Our songs are intentional; they carry the same message we preach,” he explained.
Reflecting on his journey, he recounted beginning as a drummer who also sang before discovering what he described as a divine instruction to minister through music.
“I realised that you don’t minister only through preaching. God made me understand that songs are another channel through which His Word can reach people. Every release is backed by Scripture,” he added.
Pastor Tochukwu currently serves in Lagos, combining pastoral leadership with music ministry.
