Skit Maker, Trinity Guy Released From Prison
Nigerian skit maker, Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, who is widely known as Trinity Guy, has been released from prison.
His detention followed an invitation from the police regarding a prank video that involved a minor.
The incident led to his appearance before a Family Court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State, where he was remanded at Agodi correctional facility.
Alongside him, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat, 29, who are the parents of the victim, were also arraigned and remanded on charges of conspiracy and sexual abuse and exploitation.
However, on Friday night, a fellow skit maker named Abdugalfar Abiola, popularly known as Cute Abiola, shared the good news on his Instagram page, announcing that Trinity Guy has been released on bail.
Writing in broken English, he posted, “@iamtrinityguy is finally free on Bail. I am wishing you all the best brother. May Almighty Allah keep guiding you to the right path, Amen. Welcome back! Welcome back! My guy don pray tire see his forehead.”
Yoruba movie maker, Lizzy Anjorin, joined in the celebration and expressed her gratitude to God for the bail granted to Trinity Guy.
She shared a picture of him on her social media platform with a caption expressing her joy and appreciation for his release.
“OLORUN SEUN OMO OLOGO GBERAAAAAA @iamtrinityguyz,” she posted.
Effort to speak with the spokesperson of the police command in the state, SP Adewale Osifeso, proved abortive as he did not respond to telephone calls placed on him.

The reality star’s reaction highlights the challenges celebrities face when intimate content finds its way online.
While some supporters have shown empathy, others have engaged in heated debates about the responsibility of public figures in handling their digital content.
Eloswag’s predicament places him alongside other Nigerian celebrities who have dealt with similar scandals, such as Moyo Lawal, Tiwa Savage, Oxlade, and James Brown, whose private videos have previously surfaced online.
Legal experts have weighed in on Eloswag’s potential case, noting that while pursuing legal action against individuals or platforms that share such content can be complex, it is not impossible.
